HND CUSTOM CARPENTRY is a remodeling company based on Hilton Head Island, born from my passion for unique, handcrafted items. Since 1990, I've been fascinated by working with a variety of materials. What began as a hobby evolved into a passion, and eventually into a business focused on creating custom designs and homes.

My passion for carpentry was deeply influenced by my grandfather and a close friend, who inspired me to pursue this vocation. I’ve always enjoyed working with wood, and it’s something I excel at. What brings me even greater joy is seeing that both of my sons have chosen to follow the same path, driven by their own motivation and the example I set, without any prompting from me.

HND Custom Carpenters accomplished an excellent job in the installation of stairs to attic storage area and remodeling the attic storage space. The carpenters were profesional accomplishing their work with attention to detail. The project was completed ahead of time.

After 3 others were contacted either never replied or showed up and showed up vanished never answering phone calls, HND came as scheduled viewed the project appeared as scheduled did a great job of installing pull down stairs in the garage and priced as promised.

We needed a partial kitchen remodeling along the left wall of the kitchen to encase the refrigerator and make a coffee bar. Nelson removed most of the wall between the kitchen and dining room and made custom made cabinets all along the wall. He listened well to what I wanted, helping plan out the details. I was very pleased with the quality of his workmanship and felt his price was reasonable.
